Woman hired a hit man to set her estranged wife’s house on fire

A Pennsylvania woman has been charged with allegedly hiring a hitman to set fire to the home where her estranged wife was staying with family.

The criminal complaint filed by Pennsylvania State Police says Heather Ann Dibert, 43, instructed Zachery Sellers, 34, to burn the house down with everyone inside, WHTM reported. In exchange, she offered money and drugs.

The couple, who both have a history of violence, pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm.

There were reportedly multiple children in the house at the time, and the complaint says Dibert told Sellers to “kill them all.”

Police used phone tracking data to place Sellers at the home around midnight on October 28, when he allegedly set fire to the porch. The family in the house was ultimately able to contain it with only minor damage to the porch.

Phone tracking data also showed Dibert and Sellers meeting up before Dibert drove to Martinsburg, West Virginia, where police believe she was trying to give herself an alibi by going to a strip club.

Dibert faces 32 felony charges and seven misdemeanor charges, while Sellers faces a total of 32 charges.

This is far from the first time Dibert has found herself in trouble with the law. According to WJAC, she has been charged with theft, assault, and threats throughout the last few decades.

In 2012, she pled guilty to disorderly conduct after her girlfriend at the time, Fawn Mountain, accused her of abuse. Mountain disappeared in November 2012. No charges have been filed.

Ten days before the arson attack, Dibert was charged with terroristic threats after a murder attempt on her wife’s father. She was also arrested on November 17 for violating a Protection from Abuse order (PFA) that prohibited her from contacting her wife.
