Trump’s pettiness tries to ruin PRIDE MONTH, whilst Canadas’ National Airline celebrates it in style

On the 4th day of Pride Month we are raging with anger to read the latest antics of Pete Hegseth another of Trumps Cabinet puppets.  He is the current Secretary of Defense who got approved by the Senate by the skin of his teeth after facing allegations of sexual misconduct, financial mismanagement, and alcohol issues. Hegseth’s own military service came to an abrupt end after he was barred from serving on duty at the inauguration of Joe Biden after a guardsman flagged Hegseth as an “insider threat”, noting a tattoo on his biceps of the words Deus vult and he upped and resigned.  And of course Trump, convicted felon, rapist and 7 time bankrupt, coward and now the current Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces was exempted from the draft during the Vietnam War due to a claim of bone spurs in his heels !!!!!

The pair of them have chosen Pride Month to rename the USNS Harvey Milk which is a John Lewis-class oiler, a group of ships that are named after prominent civil rights leaders and activists. Milk had joined the United States Navy during the Korean War. He served aboard the submarine rescue ship USS Kittiwake (ASR-13) as a diving officer. He later transferred to Naval Station, San Diego to serve as a diving instructor. In 1955, he resigned from the Navy at the rank of lieutenant, junior grade, forced to accept an “other than honorable” discharge and leave the service rather than be court-martialed because of his homosexuality

Milk would later  become one of the first openly gay elected officials in U.S. history during the 1970s, making him an icon of the nascent gay civil rights movement, and he was later killed while serving on the board of supervisors in San Francisco.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., the former House Speaker who represents much of San Francisco, in a statement called the decision to rename the ship “a surrender of a fundamental American value: to honor the legacy of those who worked to build a better country.”   Which is way much more polite than what we say !!!!
