Taylor Swift fans crashed Ticketmaster. Their reactions on Twitter are priceless.

Presale tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour became available yesterday morning—at least in theory. In reality, so many Swifties rushed to Ticketmaster early on Tuesday that for several hours the site was inundated with complaints, with many users unable to even access the site.

“We are aware fans may be experiencing intermittent issues with the site and are urgently working to resolve,” read a post from Ticketmaster’s customer support Twitter account earlier today.

Ticketmaster’s official account also posted updates on the situation. “There has been historically unprecedented demand with millions showing up to buy tickets for the TaylorSwiftTix Presale,” one bullet point read. “If you are currently in a queue, please hang tight – queues are moving and we are working to get fans through as quickly as possible.”

They also noted that several other presale and on-sale times have been rescheduled.

The chaos around the presale even led Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) to chime in, reminding everyone that Ticketmaster is a monopoly.

“It’s merger with LiveNation should never have been approved, and they need to be reigned in,” she tweeted.
