Sean “Diddy” Combs accused of sexual assault by male producer

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and “grooming” by a male producer who worked on his most recent album.

Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr., who worked on Combs’s 2023 record The Love Album: Off the Grid, is suing the rapper, along with Combs’s 30-year-old son Justin Dior Combs, his chief of staff Kristina Khorram, Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grainge, and former Motown CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam, according to CNN.

The so-called “ex-gay” industry seems to attract the shadiest of charlatans and predatory wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Among a raft of other allegations, USA Today reports that in his lawsuit, filed in U.S. federal court for the southern district of New York, Jones claims that Combs “forcibly touched and attempted and/or threatened to touch [Jones’] intimate areas and/or touched [Jones] with his own intimate body parts.”

“Throughout his time living with Mr. Combs, Mr. Jones was the victim of constant unsolicited and unauthorized groping and touching of his anus,” according to the complaint.

Jones, who also served as Combs’s videographer, claims to have “HUNDREDS of hours of footage and audio recordings of Mr. Combs, his staff, and his guests engaging in serious illegal activity.”

Jones claims he was encouraged by Combs to watch producer and reality TV star Steven “Stevie J” Jordan have sex with another man to “ease [his] anxiety concerning homosexuality.” The complaint alleges that Combs told Jones that “this is a normal practice in the music industry, look even Stevie J is doing it.”

Jordan, who is not named in the lawsuit or accused of any wrongdoing, told CNN that Jones’s allegations are “false.”

The suit also alleges that Combs was present while Jones was sexually assaulted by actor Cuba Gooding Jr. on a yacht rented by the rapper in the U.S. Virgin Islands in January 2023, and is liable for the assault.

“Cuba Gooding Jr. began touching, groping, and fondling Mr. Jones’ legs, his upper inner thighs near his groin, the small of his back near his buttocks and his shoulders,” the complaint states according to USA Today. “Mr. Combs had dominion and control over the actions of Cuba Gooding Jr and failed to step in and stop Cuba Gooding Jr from sexually assaulting Mr. Jones.”

As CNN notes, Gooding is not named in Jones’s lawsuit and has not commented on the allegations. Gooding has been accused of unwanted sexual touching by at least 30 women. In a 2020 lawsuit, a woman accused the Oscar-winning actor of rape; the case was settled out of court and Gooding has denied raping the woman.

Combs has also been accused of sexual misconduct and assault by at least five women in recent years, including by one who claims that he raped her when she was 17 years old. Combs has denied the allegations, describing his accusers as “looking for a quick payday.”

In his lawsuit, Jones also accuses Combs, his son, Khorram, and Combs Global Enterprises of participating in “a sex-trafficking venture.”

“Justin Combs categorically denies these absurd allegations. They are all lies!” a representative for Sean Combs’s son said in a statement to CNN. “This is a clear example of a desperate person taking desperate measures in hopes of a pay day. There will be legal consequences for ALL defamatory statements made about the Combs family.”

Sean Combs’s attorney, Shawn Holley, also denied Jones’s allegations in statements to both CNN and USA Today.

“Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 million lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday,” Holley said. “His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines. We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies.”

Jones is seeking $30 million and a jury trial.
