Hollywood celebrity Paris Hilton on March 13 led the inauguration of her first real estate project, Paris Beach Club, which is also the central amenity of Azure Urban Resort Residences in Paranaque City in Metro Manila. The celebrity businesswoman collaborated with real estate firm Century Properties Group to design the facility named after her in 2011, as part of the only resort-themed urban residential community with a man-made beach in the country.

“I’ve been dreaming about this for the past three years,” said Hilton of the opening of the beach club. “When I first walked in, I was just so blown away… It exceeded all my expectations. Just being here is one of the proudest and happiest moments in my life.”

Hilton said this was just the beginning. “I’m so excited to see the first of our many projects together,” she told Century Properties co-chief operations officer John Victor Antonio.

Azure Urban Resort Residences has nine towers named after beaches all over the world: Bahamas, Boracay, Maui, Maldives, Miami, Positano, Rio, Santorini and St. Tropez. As much as 86 per cent of the units were pre-sold as of December 2014. Paris Beach Club is adjacent to Azure Beach, which has white sand and a wave pool that can be adjusted so users can swim and surf. A waterfall, poolside bar, and infinity pool are found here, too. Greenery surrounds the man-made lagoon, which also has a children’s playground, a basketball court, and a beach volleyball area.

Antonio also said that his group will launch another project in collaboration with Paris Hilton within the year, which will be located at an 8-hectare property in San Fernando, Pampanga. He said Hilton will again help in the design, but did not give details.
