God forbid… the timing is perfect for her fabulous collection of upbeat music.  So when we got news about artist/singer MIGUEL GUTIERREZ and his current claim to fame, it immediately grabbed our attention. His new work SADONNA  is exactly what it sounds like:sad versions of Madonna songs,and his current claim to fame, and it immediately grabbed our attention. 

Backed by the SLUTINOS, the Sad Latino Boys Backup Singers (John Maria Gutierrez, Alvaro Gonzalez, and Santiago Venegas), SADONNA ekes out the melancholy cry for help hidden within Madonna’s uplifting lyrics, revealing the raw vulnerability and beating heart behind these classic hits as we sing farewell to summer. Every Madonna fan will recognise the messages of strength and resilience in Sadonna’s slower, bluer renditions. We will admit it took time to adjust to Gutierrez’s takes ….. but now I’ve persuaded the QG Team to play these every day now. 

Now we are all planning to head up North in just over a week’s time asSADONNA: The World Drowned Tourwill be performing.at Kaatsbaan Cultural Park’s upcoming presentation on the outdoor Mountain Stage at 120 Broadway, Tivoli, NY 12583 as part of its 2026 Annual Festival.
