Marval A Rex & Lukas Hassel try to scare QG with THE BOOK OF ABRAHAM their new horror movie
You will rarely see horror films featured on Queerguru’s pages because (how can we put it nicely?) it’s a genre our ED really loathes! BUT he is prone to enjoying chatting with people who can even make horror seem fun, like the charismatic Marvel A Rex. He is an award-winning actor and stand-up comedian with an infectious sense of humor who (amongst other things) hosts a regular comedy night in Los Angeles called Big Dad Energy.
Rex has produced and acted in numerous film projects, including The Emmy-nominated Book of Queer on HBO MAX. and the upcoming psychological thriller House of Abraham.…. which he very quickly persuaded QG was something we should really know about.
So that’s why one afternoon I had a Zoom interview with him and writer/actor (the 6 ‘3’) Lukas Hassel. Some days are so much more fun than others….this was definitely one of them ….I’ll probably even go see the movie when it opens.
