Marco Calvani (sans Colman Domingo!) talks about starring in Netflix’s FOUR SEASONS
Queerguru first met Italian filmmaker/actor (and total charmer!) MARCO CALVANI in 2024 when he was at the Provincetown Film Festival, to screen his debut film HIGH TIDE. He had actually filmed it the previous summer in Provincetown, starring the remarkably talented Marco Pigossi (who also happened to be Calvani’s real-life boyfriend ) Now he was back in town to talk about being one of the stars of Tina Fey’s FOUR SEASONS comedy/drama TV series on Netflix. It’s the story of three married couples who are best friends and vacation together. Our interview took on a whole different intensity when he shared that his onscreen husband was played by none other than COLMAN DOMINGO, (who, for some reason unknown to us, had not been invited to join him at the Festival. Despite the gaping hole caused by Domingo’s absence (!), Signore Calvani spun his charm to make this one of our most enjoyable interviews of the Festival
