Lizzo teases new ‘Spotlight Collection’ from Yitty featuring backless leggings – and fans are obssesed

Lizzo and Yitty are releasing a stunning new collection featuring backless leggings – and fans are obsessed.

The singer teased the range back in April 2022 as she slayed the actual airport runway wearing a black cut-out thong set.

Now fans can finally get their hands on the Spotlight Collection as it drops this weekend.

The new range will be exclusively available to buy from yitty.com.

The singer showed off the new line on her Instagram, wearing a sparkly orange set from the upcoming collection alongside a 1920s-insipired hairstyle.

She captioned the post: “THE SPOTLIGHT LEGGINGS YALL BEEN WAITING FOR DROPS IN 4… 3… 2 FREAKING DAYS! A PERFECT FIT FOR A STAR… ALL I NEED IS A CRYSTAL FLUTE.”

Fans were loving the new collection, with one commenting: “That’s it! I’m being Lizzo for Halloween #bunsout.”

Another joked: “My new business casual look.”

And somebody else asked: “Lizzo, where am I going to wear this.”

One fan had some thoughts about where to wear the collection, saying: “I’ve been waiting for concert attire!!!!!!! Yassss!”

Others said, “It’s giving everything I didn’t know I needed” and “Yes ma’am I need me this #bbwruletheworld.”

Lizzo launched the “revolutionary new shapewear brand” back in April and described it as “no-shame, smile-inducing and size-inclusive”.

It’s in partnership with Fabletics and has been designed for every body, and the brand has since released leopard print sets, a loungewear range and a knitwear collection, as well as teasing a swimwear range.

Lizzo plays 200-year-old crystal flute

The singer recently made history by playing a 200-year-old crystal flute that once belonged to US president James Madison at a concert.

The superstar singer and classically trained flautist played the one-of-a-kind flute during the Washington DC leg of her The Special Tour. The musical instrument was made for Madison, the fourth president of the USA, in 1813.

“I’m scared,” Lizzo admitted, as she took the sparkling flute from Carol Lynn Ward-Bamford, a curator at the Library of Congress.

“It’s crystal,” she added. “It’s like playing out of a wine glass.”

Lizzo played a few notes, making sure to twerk a little, as thousands of excited fans cheered. She then excitedly carried the flute over her head before handing it back to the Library of Congress official.

“B***h, I just twerked and played James Madison’s crystal flute from the 1800s,” she declared in amazement. “We just made history tonight!”

Lizzo tweeted that nobody has “ever heard this famous crystal flute” being played before as she is the “first and only person to ever play this presidential 200-year-old crystal flute”.
