Lauren Boebert mocked for making Donald Trump’s $83M judgement all about gender

After a jury in New York City issued an $83.3 million judgment against Donald Trump for repeatedly defaming the woman he sexually assaulted – E. Jean Carroll – Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is asking a critical question: What does this mean for men?

“The precedent this sets for men in this country is absolute terrifying,” Boebert posted on X. “It is truly unbelievable how weaponized our system of ‘justice’ has become.”

Roberta Kaplan reminds voters Trump is a sexual assaulter just when he wanted to take an electoral victory lap.

An $83,000,000 judgement given to a woman who can’t even tell you the date or time she encountered President Trump.

Trump sexually assaulted Carroll in a department store in 1995 and then defamed her in 2019, calling her a liar for writing about the sexual assault in her book. A jury last year found that he sexually assaulted her and ordered him to pay her $5 million for the sexual assault.

But that didn’t stop his defamation of Carroll as he continued to insult her and call her a liar. Carroll’s lawyer, out attorney Roberta Kaplan, vowed to drag Trump back to court, and she did. Trump still wouldn’t stop attacking Carroll, repeatedly posting about her on his social media platform Truth Social.

“It’s unprecedented for a person to have been held liable in defamation to keep doing the defamation,” Kaplan told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow last year.

Boebert’s sentiment appears to be that this kind of judgment could happen to any man, even though most men are not doing all the things that Trump did that led to him facing the enormous judgment.

People mocked her on Twitter for making this all about gender. Gender is a topic she has a near obsession with, even including the statement “Raising my boys to be MEN before liberals teach them to be women!” in her social media bio.

Commenters also brought up sexual misconduct from her and her ex-husband’s past.
