Jen Psaki agrees that Peter Doocy can “sound like a stupid son of a b***h”

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that she agreed with President Joe Biden that Fox News reporter Peter Doocy can “sound like a stupid son of a b***h.”

“Is he a stupid son of a b***h or does he play a stupid son of a b***h on TV?” Psaki was asked at a live recording of the Pod Save America podcast yesterday. The co-host was referring to how, in January, Biden called Doocy a “stupid son of a b***h” for asking if Biden thought that inflation could be a “political liability.”

Psaki answered that she knows where Biden was coming from.

“Well, he works for a network that provides people with questions that, nothing personal to any individual, including Peter Doocy, but might make anyone sound like a stupid son of a b***h,” she said.

But Psaki went on to “tell a nice Peter Doocy story.”

“Here’s the thing: the president did call him a stupid son of a b***h, right? So, that happened,” she started.

“So what do you do about it? The president called him, he’s talked about this, the president called him and apologized, what have you.”

“So [Doocy] went on TV that night, and I actually watched on Hannity to see what he said,” Psaki recounted, and then she explained how strange it is to watch Fox News at all. “My mind was, like, really bending and hurting. If you can imagine, it was like flames and crime, crime, crime, and the vice president’s walking through the flames and crime, I don’t even know what was happening.”

“But, Sean Hannity asked him about what the, you know, the president had said and what he said back, and he could have been like, ‘He’s a son of a b***h and I’m standing up for…’ whatever, he could have said anything, and instead he said, ‘You know he called me, we had a really nice conversation, I’m just asking my questions, he’s doing his job,'” Psaki said.

“So, I will say, that was a moment of grace. You don’t have to like everything Peter Doocy says or does, but that is certainly a moment of grace from Peter Doocy.”
