GRINDR wants to help you travel (beyond just seeing the hot man 5 minutes away)

Who knew that GRINDR wants you to go places  ….. and not just to visit the hot man in the next block.  First they have something called ROAM which allows you to set your profile location to anywhere in the world for 1 hour. Folks in your destination will see your profile on their Grid as if you were really there, and vice versa.

You can use Roam when you have upcoming travel plans, are considering a move, or just want to check out what (or who!) a new city or neighborhood has to offer.

Beyond that, GRINDR offers a travel service that actually makes a great deal of sense for intrepid queer travelers.  They cut through the usual tourist traps to go straight (not too literally) to the source—asking real loca Grindr users where they eat, drink, dance, and recover.
