First Kill is the lesbian teen vampire show that everyone is talking about.

Unfortunately this is because Netflix has recently pulled the plug on the popular drama after just one season, much to the dismay of its many fans.

According to Deadline, the series was a hit, as it received more than 100 million hours viewed in its first four weeks on the streaming service.

Despite this, Netflix announced that it wouldn’t be picking up First Kill for a second season, and fans weren’t happy about it.

One viewer tweeted that Netflix “hates lesbians and it shows”, with others noting the likes of Everything Sucks and I Am Not Okay With This also getting cancelled after one season by the streaming giant.

While showrunner, Felicia D Henderson has also opened up about why she thinks the show was cancelled by Netflix.
